Mixed by hand.
Grown at home.
Laundry and dish powders with ingredient lists you can read in one breath. Scent free, unless you want scent. Rare plants propagated in the same garage, and a refill route that comes to your door.
It works
That is the whole test. Clothes come out clean, dishes come out clean, every load.
Short ingredient lists
Printed in full on every jar. Nothing hiding behind the word fragrance.
Scent free by default
Add a scent from the menu, or have one blended for you. Nothing is scented unless you ask.
Made by hand, here
Small batches in Shoreline, sold by weight, in jars that come back to be refilled.
The powders
Your clothes are against your skin all day. You eat and drink off everything that comes out of the dishwasher. Two easy swaps.

- Powder, sold by weight
- Scent free, or pick from the scent menu
- Jar, pouch, or refill a container you already own
The one that started all of this.
Dishwasher powder
- Phosphorus free, as Washington requires
- Scent free
- Refillable by weight
Because everything you eat off of goes through it.
Body dusting powder
- Silky powder in a shaker, scent free
- Comes with a scenting kit and instructions
- Scent it yourself, at the strength you like
You control what goes on your skin, right down to the drop count.
Custom scents and bundles
- Custom blending, your nose, your call
- Starter bundles and gift sets
- Bring an old favorite and we will try to rebuild it clean
Scents are always an addition, never the default.
Why it matters
This is not about fear. It is about knowing what is in the jar, which is harder than it should be.
Some of it never appears on the label
1,4 dioxane, which has been linked to cancer, is not added on purpose. It forms as a byproduct while making common detergent ingredients, so it is not required on an ingredient list. New York now caps it at 1 part per million in household cleansing products. Short, simple formulas skip that problem entirely. New York DEC
Fragrance is one word for a long list
A single line reading fragrance can stand in for dozens of undisclosed ingredients, and researchers have found endocrine disrupting and asthma associated compounds across ordinary household products. That is why everything here starts scent free and you decide what, if anything, gets added. Environmental Health Perspectives
It all ends up in the water
Every wash drains toward Puget Sound. Washington banned phosphorus in dishwasher detergent statewide in 2010 because it feeds algae blooms that choke our waterways. Powders keep the formula short and skip shipping jugs of water around the country. RCW 70A.410.020
Contact all day, every day
Laundry residue sits against skin for sixteen hours at a stretch. Dish residue meets your food. These two swaps take more out of a household, faster, than almost anything else you can change in a week.
We make no medical claims and we do not need to. Read the label, ask what anything is for, and we will tell you.
The refill route
Like the milkman, for powders. Full jars out, empty jars back, no packaging to throw away.

A share of every sale goes back into local mutual aid, and there are always sliding scale and free seats in our classes. This business is built to circulate through the neighborhood it came from, not out of it.
