Need Help With Rent, Food, or Bills
There Is a Waitlist. Here Is Why.
Word got out, and right now far more neighbors need help than the funds we hold can cover. We could hand it out to whoever asks first, but that is not fair and it is not how we want to do this.
So there is a list. You fill out an application, we look at how urgent things are, and the most acute needs move first. Everyone gets a real answer from a real person, whether we can fund you or not.
Takes about five minutes. Most of it is optional.
We never ask about your immigration status, your Social Security number, or your history with the legal system. We do not need any of it, and we will not ask for it.
What you write goes to a small volunteer review team and nowhere else.
You Apply
Tell us your name, a way to reach you, and what you need. Everything else is optional. Share only what you feel safe sharing.
You Get a Reference Number
Write it down. It is how we find you fast if you call or write, and it means you never have to explain your situation twice.
We Sort by Urgency, Not by Order
An eviction notice with a date on it moves ahead of a request with more room in it. Time spent waiting counts too, so nobody sits at the bottom of the list forever.
We Reach Out Either Way
If we can help, we tell you how and when. If we cannot, we tell you honestly and point you toward somewhere that might. No silence, no guessing.
If tonight is the emergency, do not wait on us. Call or text 211 for immediate Washington resources including shelter, food, and utility help, then put in your application so we can pick it up from there.

There Is No Wrong Reason to Reach Out.
Volunteer
Have time, skills, a truck, or just a willingness to show up? Our biggest need right now is people to host free store appointments, but there is always something to do. Tell us what you can offer and we will find a fit.
Donate Items
Clothing, furniture, household goods, baby items, hygiene supplies. If it is clean and usable, we want it. Reach out to coordinate a drop off or a pickup at either free store.
Request Mutual Aid
Need help with rent, utilities, food, or another bill? Fill out the fund waitlist application so we can see how urgent it is and get back to you. Every request is met with compassion, not judgment.
Fund Hosting
Running a community initiative and need a place to land? We may be able to host funds and support your work without taking it over. Just start a conversation.
General Inquiry
Not sure which box you fit in? That is fine. Just reach out and tell us what is on your mind. We will figure it out together.
