Our Story
Built by Community.
The Village did not start with a strategic plan or a grant. It started with a simple and urgent need: asylum seekers and families arriving in Seattle with nothing, and community members who refused to look away.
Neighbors pooled their time, their vehicles, their storage space, and their resources to get furniture, clothing, and essentials to families who needed them immediately. What grew out of that collective effort became something bigger: a dedicated space where folx can come in and actually shop, with dignity, at no cost.
Not a charity handout. Not an intake process. A store. Where you walk in, pick what you need, and walk out. Because dignity is not a luxury.
How It Works
Simple. Dignified. Free.
Community Donates
Neighbors, organizations, and supporters donate clothing, furniture, household goods, baby items, hygiene supplies, and more. Everything is accepted with gratitude.
We Sort and Set Up
Volunteers organize donations into a real shopping experience. Not a pile of bags. Not a table of leftovers. A space where people can browse, choose, and take what they need.
You Shop. For Free.
No proof of income. No eligibility check. No referral needed. You walk in, you shop, you leave with what you need. Everyone is welcome.
How You Can Help

We are always building. Here is what we need most right now.
Donate Items
Clothing, furniture, household essentials, baby items, hygiene products, and more. If it is clean and usable, we want it. Reach out to coordinate a drop-off or pickup.
Volunteer Your Time
Sorting, setting up, staffing the store, hauling furniture. There is always something to do and every hour matters. No experience needed, just show up.
Donate Funds
Money helps us cover storage, transportation, supplies, and buildout costs. Every dollar goes directly to keeping the Village running and growing.
Spread the Word
