Why Now
The System Was Never Going to Fix Itself.
This country was founded on the enslavement of Black people and the genocide of Indigenous peoples. That is not a footnote. That is the foundation. The wealth, the power, the institutions we are fighting within today were built on that theft. And the same forces that have always hoarded power are tightening their grip right now.
This is not a left issue or a right issue. This is a people issue. Palestine. Congo. Sudan. Families destroyed by unchecked police violence. Indigenous people still waiting for what was promised. Descendants of enslaved people still waiting for justice. Working people across every zip code who know something is deeply wrong and are done being told to vote their way out of a system that was never designed to include them.
We are organizing a sustained occupation of the US Capitol grounds, powered by community, and committed to remaining until our demands are met. Not a weekend. Not a march. A presence that cannot be ignored.
